ASOS Splurge

Over the past couple of weeks I have been obsessed (slight understatement) with muted pink and I was in need of some muted pink trousers to carry on my summer pinky themed wardrobe (also got a cute summer dress btw).

Are you really a girl if you don't have at least one pink item of clothing?

I ordered these beauties last Friday (before school as like a mini spontaneous order) and they were outside my door on Monday. You wouldn't believe my excitement when I opened the package. I have actually already worn both of the trousers around my house and I am in lurve with the fit and everything about them!!

The only disappointing thing is that to achieve a natural tan I need my legs out in the sun and since I've got these items for a first in England it has been a hot sensation of loveliness for this whole week so far so I haven't worn them to their advantage.

First up are these dusky pink trousers. They are so comfy and are a smarter version of joggers I guess? You could literally wear them with anything, either dress them up or down and they would look insane. They are cuffed at the bottom and look so flattering on. The belt makes you look 100% put together as well, loveee them!!!! You can find them for £25 on the ASOS website here.

These were the next beauties I found. I had been dreaming about buying some new skinny jeans but I wanted another colour rather than blue or black. I came across these on the website and could not resist, they were exactly what I wanted. I have no clue how I'm going to attempt to style them or pull them off but I don't even care, they were too pretty not to buy. They are just regular skinny jeans and I pullled them up high enough for them to be high waisted. There is also a raw hem to add some extra detail and I love them so much!! You can find them on the website here for £20.

By this point, I thought I'm actually going to have to ban myself from the ASOS website and any online shopping but I needed to buy this dress and it was too pretty to leave and I knew I would wear it loads. It is such a pretty dress that can be wore at any occasion, it can be dressed up with heels or dressed down with converse. It's also so comfortable and I am in love with it!!! It is a cold shoulder dress so the shoulders are cut out with such as pretty detail of frills which I love!!!! I got this in the sale for £15 which you can find here

So there is everything I brought from ASOS and I really need to put myself on a spending ban but I am so happy with the things I bought as I love them all and I'm sure they will get a lot of use out of them.

An Evening In Morairia

Wherever I go on holiday, I never know what to wear if we go out in the evenings (which for me is an excuse to take more clothes in my suitcase!) and while we were away it was my step mum's birthday so we all went out for tea to a very lovely restaurant overlooking the sea while the sun set and the Spanish culture came to life! It took me a while to pick out what I wanted to wear but when I finally decided, I really liked my choice so I've decided to do a blog post about it for anybody in a situation like mine.

Morairia was very hot during the day so I knew it would be quite warm in the evening. I wore a long sleeved coral crop top from Forever 21, I love this top; it's quite thin so I knew I wouldn't be to hot but to make sure I wouldn't overheat (it wasn't that warm but you know aha) I wore some black and white loose floral shorts which have been a favourite of mine during summer as they are so comfy! Although you can't see in the pictures I wore some tan sandals from H&M which I think made the outfit complete! I had bought my necklace on holiday which was my new love and I'm so happy I bought it (after quite a while of deciding whether to get it or not!).

As it was a special occasion I decided to glam myself up slightly and put the make up I had bought with me into some use. On my nails I had my BarryM Gelly 'Passion Fruit' nail polish which is perfect for summer as it is a bright orange toned red and I wore my Mac lipstick in the shade 'Vegas Volts' this is the perfect match for my coral top that I was wearing. On my eyes I used 'Sidecar' all over my lid, 'Darkhorse' in the crease and 'Virgin' in the corner of my eye from the Naked 1 palette to give a slightly golden smokey eye and the mascara I used was Maybeline 'Lift Volume Express'. Although I didn't really need it, as I finally had a slight tan, I used my Sleek bronzer and highlight in 'light' and my Sleek brow kit in 'dark' for my brows. Finally I used my Bourjois blush in 'Bonne Mix' which is a very pale pink to give a subtle summer glow to my cheeks and to keep everything in place I used the Rimmel Stay Matt powder in 'Sandstorm'. I really liked the way my make up looked after planning how I wanted it, with my outfit it made me look very summery and my lipstick made my look put together.

Our meal was perfect, looking out onto the blue crystal sea was beautiful. The sea was very picturesque from looking down at it from the restaurant but the restaurant itself also looked incredible during the sun set and felt like the perfect holiday meal to sit and overlook the sea. To make the night even better I had my perfect meal which was a chicken cesar salad and a lemon Fanta (the best drink to ever exist!). Then we walked into the main town and each got some frozen yogurt with caramel sauce and some smarties (it's actually making me hungry thinking about it, yumm!). It was a perfect evening in Morairia!

Moraira-Spain

It is actually amazing how quickly time goes by when you are enjoying yourself and it's crazy to think that this time last week I was sitting in the sun, relaxing by the pool reading and not having a care in the world! Anyways, my family and I stayed in a pretty town called Moraira in Spain. We booked this holiday rather spontaneously; after a very long stressful year we all needed the break! We spent most of the week, lazing by the pool and visiting some beaches in the towns of Teulada and Altea which were very picturesque and I adored the Spanish culture and the old buildings; everything about the towns and beaches were astonishing and wherever I was I wanted to capture the views of the seas and mountains as everything looked so incredible! The town Teulada was defiantly my favourite, I admired the fiesta and watching everybody enjoy themselves was amazing, I feel that this I will remember for a lot of my life. This was my third time visiting Spain but I went before when was I was a lot younger so I didn't appreciate the country as much but I'm so so lucky I was able to go to go there again because I love everything about it.
Writing this blog post is giving me holiday blues; watching the rain pour down and knowing that we only have a couple of weeks left until the school term begins is making me feel a lot worse! But I'm going to try and get back into the English routine and enjoy the rest of my summer break.
