An Evening In Morairia

Wherever I go on holiday, I never know what to wear if we go out in the evenings (which for me is an excuse to take more clothes in my suitcase!) and while we were away it was my step mum's birthday so we all went out for tea to a very lovely restaurant overlooking the sea while the sun set and the Spanish culture came to life! It took me a while to pick out what I wanted to wear but when I finally decided, I really liked my choice so I've decided to do a blog post about it for anybody in a situation like mine.

Morairia was very hot during the day so I knew it would be quite warm in the evening. I wore a long sleeved coral crop top from Forever 21, I love this top; it's quite thin so I knew I wouldn't be to hot but to make sure I wouldn't overheat (it wasn't that warm but you know aha) I wore some black and white loose floral shorts which have been a favourite of mine during summer as they are so comfy! Although you can't see in the pictures I wore some tan sandals from H&M which I think made the outfit complete! I had bought my necklace on holiday which was my new love and I'm so happy I bought it (after quite a while of deciding whether to get it or not!).

As it was a special occasion I decided to glam myself up slightly and put the make up I had bought with me into some use. On my nails I had my BarryM Gelly 'Passion Fruit' nail polish which is perfect for summer as it is a bright orange toned red and I wore my Mac lipstick in the shade 'Vegas Volts' this is the perfect match for my coral top that I was wearing. On my eyes I used 'Sidecar' all over my lid, 'Darkhorse' in the crease and 'Virgin' in the corner of my eye from the Naked 1 palette to give a slightly golden smokey eye and the mascara I used was Maybeline 'Lift Volume Express'. Although I didn't really need it, as I finally had a slight tan, I used my Sleek bronzer and highlight in 'light' and my Sleek brow kit in 'dark' for my brows. Finally I used my Bourjois blush in 'Bonne Mix' which is a very pale pink to give a subtle summer glow to my cheeks and to keep everything in place I used the Rimmel Stay Matt powder in 'Sandstorm'. I really liked the way my make up looked after planning how I wanted it, with my outfit it made me look very summery and my lipstick made my look put together.

Our meal was perfect, looking out onto the blue crystal sea was beautiful. The sea was very picturesque from looking down at it from the restaurant but the restaurant itself also looked incredible during the sun set and felt like the perfect holiday meal to sit and overlook the sea. To make the night even better I had my perfect meal which was a chicken cesar salad and a lemon Fanta (the best drink to ever exist!). Then we walked into the main town and each got some frozen yogurt with caramel sauce and some smarties (it's actually making me hungry thinking about it, yumm!). It was a perfect evening in Morairia!

Moraira-Spain

It is actually amazing how quickly time goes by when you are enjoying yourself and it's crazy to think that this time last week I was sitting in the sun, relaxing by the pool reading and not having a care in the world! Anyways, my family and I stayed in a pretty town called Moraira in Spain. We booked this holiday rather spontaneously; after a very long stressful year we all needed the break! We spent most of the week, lazing by the pool and visiting some beaches in the towns of Teulada and Altea which were very picturesque and I adored the Spanish culture and the old buildings; everything about the towns and beaches were astonishing and wherever I was I wanted to capture the views of the seas and mountains as everything looked so incredible! The town Teulada was defiantly my favourite, I admired the fiesta and watching everybody enjoy themselves was amazing, I feel that this I will remember for a lot of my life. This was my third time visiting Spain but I went before when was I was a lot younger so I didn't appreciate the country as much but I'm so so lucky I was able to go to go there again because I love everything about it.
Writing this blog post is giving me holiday blues; watching the rain pour down and knowing that we only have a couple of weeks left until the school term begins is making me feel a lot worse! But I'm going to try and get back into the English routine and enjoy the rest of my summer break.
