Travel Essentials

Finally, this time tomorrow I will be relaxing by the pool in blazing hot Spain but at the moment I'm packing my giant suitcase and stressing out thinking I've forgotten something, while packing I thought about doing a blog post about my plane/travel essentials. This post will hopefully help me feel less stressed and give, you reading this, some ideas about what to take away with you.
To the airport, or even travelling in the car, I usually take a rucksack (I just have a boring one from primark) just because I find them a lot easier to carry while waiting for the plane and I usually ask someone to carry my bag if it's too heavy. 

Something I wouldn't ever forget has to be my camera, phone and Ipod (I can't go out of the house without these!!). I'm going to be using my camera to take a lot of photos, I can't wait to take some photogenic pictures of the plane landing in sunny Spain. Music is a must for me on a plane so I always take my Ipod and headphones. If I become bored of my music I read my book and the one I will probably be taking on the plane this year will be 'Will Grayson, Will Grayson'  by John Green and I'm loving it so far. I also have my blogging notebook and a pen just in case I come up with any ideas for posts or even if I want to play noughts & crosses!!
I have a clear, colourful essentials bag from H&M which inside has chewing gum (my favourite gum is Extra bubblegum!) and my preferred mascara which is the Maybeline Rocket and I love it for after the plane so even if I'm looking awful during the journey I can at least look like I'm awake. A packet of tissues is essential for me and so is hand sanitizer (but I couldn't find mine for the photo). No matter where I am, whether it's school or a long journey, I always take a lip balm of some kind, I love the Maybeline baby-lips with SPF so it's great for when I get to Spain. I'm currently obsessed with my Mac lip stick called 'Angel' which is a pinky-nude and would make me look slightly better after the 3 hour journey. Finally I packed my travel charger for my phone; If anyone has an IPhone, you will understand how awful the battery is so a portable charger is a must have. One thing I forgot to put in the photo was my sunglasses and that was because of the rain pouring down on my window, I forgot I even needed them!
